I try to kill bulkheads with archers and ducks, thinking that this is logical, since raiders should kill artillery, in fact, bulkheads kill raiders very well, it's so stupid. There was a moment when the randy started pushing my bottom with the help of bulkheads, I was forced from the base to drag my bulkheads to protect my spots, because none of the units can kill the bulkheads, except the bulkheads themselves.

Badgers are stronger than raiders, even my transition to harpies was stupid, because badgers safely leave and not let themselves be killed

We exist in a time where amph have a counter for almost everything - apart from badgers. Bulkhead did bring some new frustrations to the table for sure, but I'd imagine archer and limpet to be a bigger deterrant to bulkhead raiding than bulkhead itself.

Just be glad you weren't hovercraft, who have absolutely zero logical escalation paths against amphbots at all.

I watched this game. I think firewalkers could done some work. Have to be careful of lobsters, but it is good vs most amps and badgers as well.

Will definitely keep bulkheads out of firing. That said it's not a great map for firewalker, much too wide-open to get the best mileage out of it. You'd also be baiting a lob like you say, and grizzly or follow up GS certainly eats firewalkers.

Bulkheads are not artillery, they're slow fencers with assault hp.

That's a good one. If that's what I knew I was up against for sure, I'd be wanting to identify the location, and either lob or spread 4-5 limpets in for the reveal, with which you can follow up with bouys, lobbed or otherwise depending on this theoretical situation's parameters. If you have success with the limpets the buoy will have no problems.

I haven't actually seen this used vs me or any of the amph matches I watched though.

The thing is buoys are the yummiest phantom lunch. Part of that counter is itself countered by the comp you're trying to defeat.

Ronins do surprisingly terrible vs buoys, especially in larger skirmishes. But if you introduce phantoms, cloakies win I think... or at least I don't know how to beat an equal skill opponent once the game reaches phantom.

Seems like it's a race. If amph can escalate to griz first, amph are probably going to win. If cloakies manage to get phantoms, cloakie probably wins.

Early game attrition decices I suppose, which isn't very helpful because that is true in any matchup. All I'm saying is if the game escalates and I can get griz while my opponent gets phantoms and we're about equal with everything else considered, I don't know how to win with amph.

Maybe limpet is the way to go, but you have to either shield or cloak? Seems like amph would be pretty strong if cloaked because armies bumping into each other would probably favor amph with limpets. They don't hit you, they don't chain explode and they slow a LOT.

Heck, forget buoys. Maybe the counter is cloak limpet spam?

i like bulkhead its the only skrimisher arty assault generalist,its like hermit but better in everyway,then you get lobster which removes every single weakness from amph and limpet to ensure no raider or skirmisher masses can kill bulkheads and with duck spam you can counter every raider in the game,indeed a very decent factory.

the only choice is either jump jets or lance spam then again with lobster even lances are bad

Only if your lobster multi-jump micro is godlike. Otherwise they're a nightmare to catch. (I don't think I've ever seen anyone use lobsters to catch Lance)
