Siren really needs a nerf, if forces you to counter it with arty. The AOE just vaporises everything.

Hunter is just shit at its job of killing underwater stuff. I would prefer if it was slightly more expensive and had 2-3x the hp.

Envoy has the same problem pillager (emissary) had before it's nerf, it is too good against mobile ships. The projectile speed needs to be reduced or the fire rate decreased, even when microing the AOE means it often still hits due to the turn speed of ships generally being low. It currenty counters Mistral which is needed to counter siren. So an army of Envoy and Siren counters almost everything in sea.

Corsair also can't deal with Siren

Zephyr is bad AA, it misses almost all the time if the opponent does any micro.


Probably switching to hover and making lances and claymore would have been a good idea here. However I would like the sea ship fac be fun to play against itself rather than the ridiculous RPS it is at the moment. Committing to a push generally loses you the game because all the wrecks are safe to reclaim.

I also noticed that fire missiles seem to go through shields on sea, but on land they don't?

For what it's worth, in large enough numbers, Seawolf beats Siren for cost, or very close. Corsair also maybe could, if it had enough range to not need absolutely perfect micro versus Sirens.

Mistral are pretty good against Sirens. Actuallyt, I find it myself underpowered :-\

Siren is riot, it has to decisively beat Duck and Seawold. It can be caught out by Corsair, but AoE stacks with density, so range will be its counter on a map like this. It has more than twice the HP you would expect because ships are tuned higher than land.

Envoy is particularly powerful because artillery is the only way ships can directly support land. It also has to contest with being unable to damage anything underwater, and a lack of sea defenses.

Lance seems like a fine approach. Sea, especially dense lane sea, is designed with more inter-factory support in mind.

What is a fire missile? Napalm missile? The shield is unchanged. Perhaps you are noticing a difference in shield height?
