BEST UNIT EVARRRR

Sort of like starlight... Just faster.

It's really awkward to see it miss on radar dots though. Not to mention that producing more than one unit every 0.2 seconds is extremely easy in (super)speedmetal.

Waiting for a (non-staged) game that features somebody losing with an active win button...

Not sure if it misses because of radar wobble or because it just cant hit flying things.

had a lot of trouble hitting gunships and planes, also generates a lot of error spam... despite this it delivers what it promises

It's just a mega starlight which is kinda boring. It should create a massive explosion that slowly moves down the map and destroys everything, ally and enemy alike. Or something... and not be a mod option..

Agreed. Big sphere of explosion, just the win button survives.

A true I Win button would only need to be pressed once.

Sadly this has to be done in Lua since a slow moving engine explosion cannot achieve it. So someone has to do that. If they want this.

The difficult part about it will be not lagging everyone out before the blast finished. If a win button is built, chances are there's tons of units on the map.

the supermegaexplosion sounds cool, what about killing everything in the map as sak said but then the button itself cannot die by that explosion (in order to make the team that built it win)?

Yeah, a button that kills everything but itself sounds like the best implementation. It even adheres to the ZK philosophy of units not hurting themselves with their weapons.

Well, is the nuke explosion lua or engine? That speed would suffice i'd say...

Issue with engine explosions is that there is no shockwave simulation. Units within blast range are tagged as "hit by explosion", and get their damage applied after delay.

This is why outlaw has fast pulse now.

There is no solving this without making a gadget, or ingressing into engine code.

Though i think the lags shouldn't be that awful, especially if starting range for the explosion is large enough.

After all, it also kills allies, so you'd expect unit count to drop 2 times right after activation.
