Wind spam kill 1/3 of our team - all red CPU usage and ping - i personally have like 3 FPS when any team spam wind
Can someone smart optimize this (and ideally more) part of the game ? Like why does it use only single-thread?
Or if noone can do it - is there a way to prevent wind spaming, or should i just leave every time ppl do it?

Can we get... benchmarks? System specs?

Spring is a pretty optimized engine, it runs well for a lot of people unless you're using a 10 year old PC, even with spam of x unit. This makes me inclined to think that a lot of zk players are just playing on potatos, possibly including yourself.

Quoted directly from the spring engine FAQ:

quote:

From now on we'd recommend refraining from saying:

quote:
Spring should be more multithreaded

As this is not only wrong but useless and annoying.

Instead you can say things like:

quote:
Spring is slow for me and I'd like it to be faster

Also, there's maybe a whole 3 people in this universe doing engine dev, and rest assured, those 3 people don't have time for a rewrite of the engine to support multi-threading.
