Very nice FFA map, and such a classic of CA. Oh the time of the massive FFA wars on the test mod :P

Nah it's much too dark, Fire. Would need inverted /darkening, but that doesn't exist I think. :(

Make a remake with an improved texture? Perhaps shore cliffs could be touched up too for consistent pathing.

Consistent in which way? Right now hovers are mostly blocked with a few gaps. Should this be fully pathable for hovers or no?

CArankTheMooseIsLoose - neither. The point is that hover-pathable ramps should be more visible and should be designed into the balance of the map. On this map their presence feels pretty random and doesn't look like it was intentional.

Why is this map still featured?

I ask because:
- It is extremely ugly
- Hover pathing is very broken.

A year or two I made this: http://zero-k.info/Maps/Detail/60348

Is my version perfect? definitely not, and I've gotten better at doing textures since. But it does have a much better texture than THIS, and includes non-broken hover pathing. It also has better boxes that allow for 4-way ffas as well.

Moved to supported. I would just unsupport it but I do not know why it was featured.

I'd bet because FFA maps are quite rare.

Rephrase: I do not know why it was featured simultaneously with a newer version of the map being featured. Normally when that happens it is because the newer version has substantial gameplay differences or the old version was required for campaign at some point. I'm not aware of either applying here.

I looked at logs and I'm fairly certain it's fine to unsupport, doing so now.
