Hi

any of the last updates introduced a feature or a bug in the fire state setting of the catapult.

I switch the fire state to "Hold Fire" and after some time it is back to "Fire At Will" and the Cata is firing on fleas and friendly units.

Maybe somebody competent can fix this ?

It's very annoying.

Thats an old known bug (though not reported on github, or just hard to find) and caused by cloak/decloak. It's not unique to Catapult.

DErankAdminmojjj you call yourself a scientist? Pah! Any real scientist (provided they are either sane or insane enough) could've guessed that it was the battle that ended right before this post was created:

DErankmm19's only Catapult - located under an area cloaker - switched from Hold fire to Fire at will about a minute before their team managed to successfully !resign.

It is is known issue. People complained about this but then they complained that their cloaked units were firing and decloaking themselves. So the default has fluctuated around a bit.

Ingame, go to 'Game/Unit Behaviour' and disable 'Hold fire while cloaked'.

Autoswich should be enebled by default on units that can cloack alone (like scorpion, scyte, comms, often ultimatum), because they are ambush units that should strike back when spotted. All other units should retain their set state.
