This forum is not import enought to remember threads from 24+ hours ago. That thread only shows more problems:
-It has bad title too. Is putting the error message into title so hard?
-One thread is in "Help&Bugs", a subforum that nobody uses anymore since the change to how subforums are displayed.
One thread is in "General discusion."
-If both threads were in correct subforum with useful titles, one would instantly see that another thread exists.
-That would have saved annoyance for players like mrpizzaface, because re-installing the game multiple was waste of time.
-There is a bug that causes so much error-spam that the infolog is too large to upload to pastebin. Yet the player is not sure if that is really an issue.
-Forum thread instead of bugtracker. Appearently player wanted to make bugreport if the bug happens for others too. But even after told that bug happens for everyone, no bugtracker entry.
In that post I see complaints about how it is hard to find good games (timezone, skill differences)
Nothing about being busy.
Only bit related part is that releasing new mod version has become difficult, with no info how that process got fuckulated.
The thread you linked is another fail, why link to a "Why did you stop playing?"-thread and not to dev forum or on infra bugtracker?
https://github.com/ZeroK-RTS/Zero-K-Infrastructure/issues/1061quote: As an addenum to the above, your (pretty transparent in this instance) pushing of your agenda against zk and zkdev is getting old. |
I hope my posts have always been transparent.
The ones pushing an agenda are zK peoplers, turning open spring thing into boring closed mono-game system and killing playerbase.
For years telling great phantasy stories how zeroK lobby is the best, that everyone should use it, and once they had pulled enough users from spring into their system made it mono-game. A move you would expect from 'evil' companies like Microsoft or Apple, not in hobby projects.
Always justified with agressive arguements how other games are so much worse than zK, that nobody would want to player other mods anyway, how great their infrastructure is, and unrealistic promises how many players they would bring to game soon.
But actually zk peoplers are just as amateurish non-organized hobby develobsters like all other mods they wanted to raise above.
Now they could not even release a new mod version for many days and fanboys like you still blindly buy into all this marketing crap.
