Fealthas 9 years ago (edited 9 years ago) This map is super porcy and I think it favors the east player quite a bit. I love the concept though, just the implementation is lacking. Removing all the cliffs and turning them into hills except for the base ones would be a good start. +0 / -0
DeinFreund 9 years ago (edited 9 years ago) Isn't this mainly a FFA map? It's my favourite for FFA. A fork for 1v1 could maybe be made. +0 / -0
Fealthas 9 years ago Its in the 1v1 pool... +0 / -0
GoogleFrog 9 years ago It should probably be removed from the 1v1 pool. It is high economy and very closed in. I thought the purpose of this map for 1v1 would be random start locations but I have never seen someone start south. +0 / -0
gajop 9 years ago I don't think it works as random start in 1v1. +0 / -0
Fealthas 9 years ago It used to be random, but I think when we switched to chobby, it stopped being so. +0 / -0
gajop 9 years ago (edited 9 years ago) Is it really a Chobby thing? I'd think this has more to do with matchmaking/ZK infra than the lobby client (not properly setting map options). The lobby client certainly shouldn't have an impact on game mechanics. +0 / -0
Fealthas 9 years ago I'm not 100% sure, but it happened in around the same time we switched to chobby. +0 / -0
GoogleFrog 9 years ago Rotated out of MM. +1 / -0
GoogleFrog 9 years ago Chobby won't have anything to do with randomness. There were changes to the startbox system at some point, perhaps look there. +0 / -0
ShadowWolfTJC 8 years ago As a FFA map, this is probably one of the best that I've had the pleasure of playing in. In addition to the 3 teams on the 3 starting positions, I can see spots where maybe up to 7 more teams could compete more-or-less fairly (3 of which could be located in the water, 1 in the center, and 1 on each of the 3 expansion areas). 5/5 +0 / -0
GoogleFrog 7 years ago This map isn't symmetric, which I think is a problem. +0 / -0
Fealthas 7 years ago It has C3 radial symmetry. But yeah...in a 1v1 I think the east player has advantage due to easier porc placement and proximity to the bottom area. +1 / -0
Pxtl 4 years ago The best 3 player FFA map. A better minimap for ZK would be appreciated, I thought it was another "shallows in the middle" map from the preview. +2 / -0
UFO_JESUS 19 months ago Played a good Arena mod match on this today +0 / -0
