How to defend against blastwings at the beginning of the game?

Actually, I have an ok answer.

• Put Pickets on the edges of your base rather than in the middle. The two cliff corners near the edge of the map are particularly important on Ravaged.
• Spread everything out. Once you know there are Blastwings, don't make your winds in lines. Place individual winds with big gaps between them. A Blastwing that only kills one windmill has no made cost.

These are only required for the opening, after that things should be fine.
