I've noticed that in the latest ZK version resource bars no longer draw in different lengths depending on metal/energy amount, they always draw as full. Here's a screenshot:

Anyone else getting this?

yes i have that too, seems to be an ati only issue. i use the latest driver version for win 8. i also have frequent crashes since i have my new computer, which was at about the same time when the new version of zk came - im not sure if thats related to the graphics card, something else with the system or this zk version, but would be interesting to hear if other ati users also crash often.

And thats why i dont buy ATI anymore, i had tons of problems with ATI in past, like under Linux(terrible support), like under win.

Just weighing in with a me too, and to say the same thing happens with health bars too.

Using HD5770 and 12.6 drivers on W7.

I recently upgraded to the 12.6 drivers. I'm thinking that is the cause of this now. Props to the ATI driver dev team for successfully breaking something new with Spring every release.

12.7 beta drivers have the same result.

Same problem :(

Yeah ATI sucks.
I had ATI card for several years and each new version of drivers caused some sort of graphics bugs ingame.

It fails horribly in all games using OpenGL - either deal with it or buy Nvidia.

So is any UI change responsible or did some new ATI driver break the progress bar element of chili?

If everyone here with this problem recently upgraded to the 12.6 like I did, then I'm pretty sure this is the fault of the drivers.

I have it too, and upgraded to 12.6 drivers with ATI

Bleh, and I upgraded to 11.6 to be able to use Xorg 1.12. I guess I will downgrade both to 11.4 and 1.11

EDIT: It is definitely an 11.6 problem. I downgraded to 11.4 and everything works again. I bet for windows users its horribly painful to downgrade if possible at all :P

We should SURELY be able to fix this even if it is hardware related.

Ok, someone fix it then.

I don't have ATI because it's crap.

I know Licho has ATI because it's crap (to see issues) but he is unlikely to code this.

So someone with ATI has to step up and fix this.

Funny... while reading this thread there was an ad at bottom:

"Update ATI in 2 minutes"

I guess some tool to help you install an ATI driver update. How sweet...

LOL...
Suggest will not buy ATI cards in future on upgrade, maybe after count of customers will decrease ATI will start think about quality and compatibility of their shitty drivers.

the decision to buy a new graphics card this february was driven by ATI sucking with spring engine. so i bought a nvidia. :D
