To make it easier to use mumble, it has been integrated with the ZK.

Join mumble on mumble.zero-k.info (=springrts.com) and use same nickname as your ingame nickname.

When springie does !balance it will move you to proper channel based on autohost name, spectator status and team.

Before game starts, all people are slotted in spectators.

Improvements:
- spectators are now linked to team channels - they can hear whats said in team channels, but team players cannot (same as chat works)
- system more responsive

This is not an FPS/RPG, I don't think that would be useful

EDIT: Is there a way to bypass the autobalancer in a specific channel? For instance in 1v1 games people might want to talk to the enemy...
Perhaps there could be some !option to disable it?

I will disable it for every team where team size is just 1

In the future we can make it so that when you join some subtree there you would be move-free

I like the idea, but it should be subtle. Probably have it so that the most any channel drops is 2-3dB. That is, if you are focused on the left side of the map, and the other player is focused on the right side, you'd only hear the left channel drop by 2dB when they were speaking.

I think it will be better if people stay in the spectator channel right until the battle starts and get moved back there once it ends. Then everybody can discuss the last game or the next map or whatever and some random guy saying !balance won't break conversations.

I just checked and when the game ends people remain in team channels until someone does !balance.

i m the alone server player on murmur and i m spectator.

System has been disabled because it was causing "out of memory" errors .. needs further investigation.

Mumble is open source, TS isn't afaik

Does this still work? I've followed the instructions but CArank[G0G0]Dancer and I got placed into the same channel even though we were on different teams.
