Anything marked FFA isn't used for teams, which can be kind of a mistake sometimes, but the fact that PW used FFA maps too made me realise that playing Mosh Pit v2 as a team map is pretty bloody awful.

Basically the problem is that ZK's infrastructure only allows for one canonical set of tags and boxes, which means a map must be either FFA or teams. There are a few FFA good maps that have been converted into teams and are unable to be used in FFA.

Multiple "profiles" of tags and Springie commands per-map would be a nice improvement at some far-flung future date.

Isn't it just possible to upload a map twice as "map_teams" and "map_FFA" each with appropriate startboxes for teams and FFA respectively?

That means redownloading a copy of each map over and over again for different uses (particularly bad if you have an FFA4 and FFA8 version of the same map on top of the teams mode). While Spring supports having maps with dependancies upon other map data (and so you could have a core map-file defining the landscape and several stub files describing different metadata) none of the lobbies properly handle that so it never caught on.

Right now you can only set one series of boxes. It would be nice to have a separate field to set boxes for teams.

Consider unfeature and unsupport.

Reasons:

1. Startboxes put teams right up against eachother (with south team having a MAJOR advantage)
2. Features have horrendous colvols (enough to fit a stardust inside them)
3. Features are not reclaimable.

This map is already not supported for team games. It's only tagged for FFA. Should we make maps that aren't tagged for the current game mode only be available on passworded hosts?

It should be tagged for dustbin, that's for sure.

I'd settle for a no ffa map rule in team games (except supported team maps)

Ban this map in teams please. This map came up AGAIN today and people were defending the map. What the fuck? That somehow having broken, unbalanced teams was "fun". Yeah fun for team 2 cuz they get 90% of the map while team 1 suffers in the corner.

Get rid of it. Please.

They really want to play a map with unbalanced, broken starting positions?

Okay then, open the flood gates to the *other* broken unbalanced maps. I'll start calling for every broken map in existence until people learn it's unfun. Soon, we will have nothing but 24/7 of no metal speed metal, long icy run, etc.
