PLEASE NERF MINOTAUR ITS SO STUPID. 850 METAL FOR 7200 HP THAT IS NOWHERE NEAR FAIR. DOES SO MUCH DAMAGE WHEN IN A CLUSTER AND RELOADS REALLY FAST. DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS PLEASE. OR AT LEAST TELL ME THE COUNTER (DON'T SAY ULTIMATUM)

HELL NO, FOR SOME REASON EVERYONE WANTS WEAK EASY TO KILL UNITS. TANKS KICK ASS AND ARE THE MAIN BATTLE UNITS UNLESS TERRAIN IS UNSUITABLE. COUNTER TANKS WITH TANKS!
THEY ALREADY RUINED MY OGRES, THEY DIE WAY TOO FAST NOW. TANKS! TANKS!! TANKS!!!, EVERY TEAM NEEDS THEM.

in team game there is nice and reliable counter.
Racketeer -it cost 340 and completely counter all unsuported assault units(i mean deep sometimes-suicidal rides, that are common in big team games).
From my experience Racketeer spam is way stronger then it looks so feel free to try it one game (can explain in detail how it work if u interested in long essay)

Placeholder. Or Domi, Racketeer, Glaives or Wall.

I wouldn't say it reloads fast; its DPS/cost is really bad (45% of Ravager's, for example).

Was that supposed to be a troll post, OP? Minos are good, but they are slow to aim and fire, and hardly difficult to counter even in numbers. The only unit from the tank factory that merits an Ulti is Cyclops, and the rest of the factory is either squishy, slow, or short-ranged enough to be countered by normal units from other factories. Except, maybe, Tremor. In fact, I think Ogre could use an armor buff, without it the factory is a little under-powered compared to some others... that's just my subjective view of it, maybe I just need to learn to use tanks better though.

Tanks are very based in when they are good i guess. its underpowered sometimes, but other times it can be game winning.

Also i find it takes no brain to play, just 5-10 minotaurs with 1-2 ogres and cyclops once you have enough minos, with some emissaries sprinkled in there, tremor if against shield spam. (Basically hit and run with minos then retreat to heal your minotaurs. I've had some success fighting tanks using shieldball, but the most effective counter i found was redback + aspis.)

One game I saw a fully-slowed crow get shot down by minotaurs.

They aren't on my shortlist of really scary units though.

Probably depends on the map - I suspect they are only great on congestedish flat maps.

I find glaives tend to do a good job. Need to take out the ogres somehow though.

Enough lances and phantoms can do it.

The EMP turrets can be okay.

Terraforming can be good too.

Minotaur dps per cost is awful, particularly when you take into account breakpoints, slow turret turn speed and slow bullet speed. It's the worst of any assault other than Cyclops and Detriment.

If the enemy has managed to build up enough Minotaurs that glaive or scorcher swarms aren't killing them then you're done something very wrong (and at that point should have enough Lance or somesuch to start picking them off).

As a tank player, I can tell you the big weakness of Minotaurs is that any anti-raider escorts you include will die quickly (often to Phantoms or Lance but sometimes to things like Knights), so it's hard to make cost in a run (with all the wrecks being in enemy territory). If you don't include riots then the raiders eat you alive.

I think GBrankdyth68 touched the point here.

@Logix likely means the minotaur pulks... they can be dangerous and kind of roll a paladin off.
I think in larger games... sometimes you do not have the possibilty to just "do not let it happen"

... "do not let it happen that someone builds a zenith... then you did something wrong..." I think that is the wrong approach.
But still there are many counters to those minotaur pulks.

Usually the players who play those mino-pulks cluster them too much because you cannot spread 20 minotaurs over a good distance and alone they are pretty weak.
