Should units be able to destroy underwater wrecks? Feels kind of bad when things get stuck on water because of underwater pile-up.

Being underwater has (as far as I know) the following effects, and only the following effects:
1. Non water-capable weapons are disabled
2. Non amphib units cannot move
3. Units cannot cloak.

Energy generation is not on that list, and indeed, an underwater singu continues to work and generate energy
Antinuke, on the other hand, is a bit different. Since the interceptor that antinuke fires is an weapon, and that weapon is not water capable, it gets disabled

Most other buildings follow these rules, with bertha, cereb, trinity, zenith, ddm, lucifer, and raveparty all being unable to fire their weapons.
Starlight, however, is an exception. Since the starlight laser is actually water-capable, an underwater starlight will work perfectly fine, despite starlight not being able to be built underwater

Hello, Robotnik here. Today, we're building a starlight, before destroying the starlight, before gathering a bunch of little drones to revive the starlight underwater in my mad quest for defeating my arch-nemesis.

You can just build it on a water level spire and then sink it with quakes.

You can do the same thing with singus, last I checked.

Yeah CArankGalamesh's strat is much more efficent, especially for starlight, since you can sink the nanoframe once the nanoframe gets enough HP to eat a quake hit. that way your starlight starts underwater

Might be a legit strat for FFA since quake and IIRC shockley both can't hit underwater targets

FWIW being underwater also extinguishes afterburn.
