Date and Time


Start time is 10:00 UTC, Saturday 24th August.

Be aware this is about 8 hours EARLIER than the other tournaments in the last year have been!
This time is late at night in America, daytime in Europe and evening in Asia.

Be aware the tournament is likely to run for a few hours.

You may be replaced if you're not present at that time so plan ahead!

5-6 rounds of round robin/Swiss (each round best of 1) followed by tiebreaks.

In a few months I can return to running tournaments about 8 hours later (American daytime, European evening and Australasia morning) but the daylight savings cycle makes it a little too brutal in this half of the year.

I'll put you down as a 'maybe' Forever, in which case if you show up any time before the tournament starts you'll be in.

My general intention is to accept signups until ~10 minutes before the tournament starts, or even a bit later if you're lucky and it happens to make a nice number of participants.

Unfortunately this is right in the middle of the tournament which seems difficult to work around.
