We should ask what does not kill air? Only thing I could find is that some of the antisubs don't but don't hold your breath, if you land on water a duck can still attack a plane! (how come planes can land on water?! how come ducks torpedo is different from scallop torpedo in regards to firing on landed planes).

I hope there is still the case that launching nukes can hit swifts flying overhead and destroy own base...

Things being stuck on the repair bad feels bad and glitchy. Like there was nothing you could have done, the UX/UI just fought you and won.

Stealthily approaching and scything the likhos while the air player is distracted? Now that's fair play.

I did just have a game where my likhos bombed an enemy army that was coming into our base, and they instantly landed on a pad now surrounded by bad guys : P
Can also be annoying if they choose to land on a friendly pad that doesnt offer repairs

Yeah, I find this one fairly infuriating as well.

Being able to set a preferred home airbase would be nice as well. Allies never build repair near them...

This exists already in an alternative world but is hamstrung by low motivation.

In FW users can force planes to abort landing / immediately take off using the K button.

The big problems I can see are two fold:
1.) I don't have time to sift through history and pr stuff. This is an invitation for someone to be a "pull request intermediary"
2.) It needs an art polish.

There is a button (an order) to disable any ally pad, you just need to enable it (make visible) in the settings.

For an emergent release from the pad, start to reclaim it. It works instantly. Could be automated probably with a small widget.
