West winning launching nuke, immediate resign-block from mojjj west to have it land. Sippio i think also did it later, i dont see another reason to resign-vote when you got 90% map & nuke & 5k dbags.

Dirtbag nerf requests... Look how far we've come!

It leads to degenerate games with terrain messed up, until people learn how to counter that (Venoms, Placeholder, Tremor?), and that's how meta rolls...

Honestly it's mostly an answer to previous degenerate meta of Lance spam which happened to be the only all round decent anti units artillery left unnerfed (together with Impaler and Snipers to lesser extent, which both have flaws - one is easy to counter with napalm due to short range and other is bad at hitting moving targets). I also blame the lack of good counters to cloaker abundance at fronts. I'd give it some more time to see how meta evolves further before nerfing the unit that does never come to mind when saying that something's "OP".

I find that this phenomenon is partially strong because people actually build units (dirtbags) that are used to actually engage withenemy and push back, instead of just raising armies to idle around next to defense forests. It sounds like the best assault in the current meta - the assault that actually succeeds in raiding porc and people are not afraid to use it, while being cheap enough not to
be deterred by some anti heavy accumulation.

It is also the result of maps that are played - a lot of lobpot games happen for some unknown to me reason on very small maps that would be crowded in 3v3 matches (see Fields of Isis, Eye of Horus, Highway, Desert Rumble, Mercurial, Into Battle), or very narrow maps like Storm siege. I have yet to see effective dirtbag spam on Inculta or CCR.

@edit: it's also result of Stardust being shit at the moment

PS: I'd like to see the dirtbag mound smoothed a bit so that the dirtbag messed terrain is bots pathable though, not only spider pathable.

Also maybe the "restore terrain" terraform could cost only energy as all terraform in the past and not be restricted by introduction of terraform blocking when enemy units are present?

Regarding the resign vote - I received it as a tongue in cheek for award denying resign rush after nuke is fired but before it lands... Was fun, but probably not on the receiving end. I'd not like to see it repeat often, but resigning before nuke lands is also kind of lame for the nuke user.

I would argue that venom is not a great counter to dirtbag. The dirtbags just jump on the venoms and then they stun themselves.

Because its very slow and impossible to do with units around (terraform block), and also somewhat expensive as it sinks your metal.

The only easy solution is tremor, which also is very hard to use after nerfs with existance of Impaler
