This means the Kodachi has to stick around and destroy the building fully before being able to run away. It can still devastate enemy economy by destroying poorly defended [[Metal Extractor|metal extractors]] and [[energy]] sources in a few seconds, which makes it especially dangerous in the early game before sufficient defenses can be set up, or even later in the game when Kodachis return in larger numbers that allow them to dive past light static defenses.
